Celebrating a Comfy Christmas in San Antonio

As I shared last week, we started our holiday season with a yee-haw, heading west to San Antonio for the Seaworld Christmas Celebration. If you have not yet attended, much of the beauty of this event takes place after sunset. Every tree lights up like, well… like a Christmas tree. Arbors are draped in twinkling, as well, casting a cheerful glow everywhere you look.

No visit to the Celebration would be complete without that evening beauty and we had no intention of missing out. We no longer live in a traveling house, however, and we are four-plus hours away from our favorite park. We decided, therefore to make a weekend of it which led us to our favorite San Antonio hotel, the Courtyard Marriott Seaworld.

Five minutes door-to-door, there is no more convenient hotel for the park. Add a shuttle, and who needs to fuss with parking? The staff is filled with holiday cheer all year round. And to my daughter’s delight, a true Texas holiday treat – a year-round pool!

And lest you think this hotel is only for Star families, one of Santa’s helpers made himself comfortable.

Now I don’t want to get ahead of my skis with the Big Man so I’m not calling it an official North Pole endorsement, but Jeffrey definitely looked at home. We suspect that Courtyard Marriot is on the Nice Liat.

So make the most of your trip to Seaworld by staying at the official Seaworld Courtyard Marriott – North Pole or not, it certainly has the StarFamilyTravels seal of approval.
