The Star Family is trying to stay in as many state and national parks as possible. We recently visited Davis Mountain State Park. The park in itself is gorgeous. Nestled inside the park is a small inn and restaurant known as the Indian Lodge.
We had lunch there on our second day. It had frozen over night and the park’s pipe had frozen. (22 degrees — it would then fall to 19 the following night. VERY cold for a trailer.) So cooking and more importantly, cleaning up afterwards was difficult. It therefore seemed a good day to eat out.
I can’t say as I recommend the food per se but the staff was friendly and we had a great view.
