Today we got the call, the call we’ve been waiting for. After months of delays and mountains of paperwork, we have an official date. Mr. Hero will be fully retired on February 20th. That’s right! In one week, we will have the all clear — WOO to the HOO!
So the travels will begin. It may be hard to remember but this whole “travel” thing was due to begin on January 1st. That was 43 days ago (not that I was counting or anything).
I cannot tell you what a relief this is. As much as you know something should happen, is “supposed” to happen, until it happens, there is doubt. Well, we doubt no more. The retirement countdown begins. 7 Days…
