While in Galveston, we visited the Children’s Museum. This has become a favorite part of our visits. The museum sits on the ground floor of the Moody Mansion.
It is smaller and many but is focused on imagination play. I really liked that. I was afraid that Sonny-Bunny would give me push back or say he was bored. I feared needlessly. He headed straight to the “Pizza Parlor” and started playing. He was all in the remainder of the time. Be still my heart.
How cute is this pizza place? I love the wood-burning oven. Next they found the fishing boat.
At the nearby lifeguard station, Sonny-Bunny proved he was still Joe Cool.
We then had silly fun in the doctor’s office. Little Diva put her “patient” back together.
And Sonny-Bunny hammed it up with his cast.
And speaking of hamming it up, they found the theater play station.
Such a shame they didn’t have any fun — haha!
That’s our play day at the Children’s Museum of Galveston. We’re sharing with Unknown Mami’s Sundays in My City.

Children make life fun, huh? I recall the interactive exhibits in Tegucigalpa. Every child that visited with me loved the clinic and medical stuff on display. It’s so fun when you can play with all the props.

Definitely! My favorite museums are those that encourage tactile interaction and play!
