Yesterday, Mr. Hero and I drove to the VA in Temple, TX to dot a few “i”s and cross a few “t”s in our journey over the bureaucratic road bumps. The kiddos were grandparents and we had a few quiet moments; a very rare thing these days.
While at the VA, I noticed these models. I think they’re pretty neat.
It was a productive day clearing the path to the open road.
Today I am sharing with my friend Unknown Mami and Sundays in My City.

It’s funny how a few moments alone with your significant other even if they are while running errands feel somehow kind of special when you rarely get “alone” time together.

Absolutely! We had conversations that were not interrupted. We listened to music. It was a sweet thing.

My husband and I took our three young kids on a summer road trip in a semi truck many years ago and it is a summer we will always remember and an experience I wouldn’t change for the world. Have a wonderful time.
