As I mentioned yesterday, we have not yet been able to hit the open road but we are intent on still starting our adventures. Little Diva and I headed south to the Houston Museum of Natural Science’ and its Cockrell Butterfly Center.

Inside the Cockrell Butterfly Center:
The center begins with an educational exhibit that offers a close-up view of many insects including moths, ants, and beetles, as well as butterflies.
The second part is a beautiful glassed-in conservatory filled with butterflies. Trying to capture them on film screen isn’t easy — including the moment when a beautiful blue butterfly landed on my daughter’s shoe — but I captured one that wasn’t blurry.
The center is lovely and will definitely be back. You can learn more about the Cockrell Butterfly Center at the Houston Museum of Natural History here.
I’m joining with my friend Unknown Mami in her wonderful Sundays in My City.
